Dr. Biplab Das

Dr. Biplab Das is a neurologist and neurointervention specialist based in Delhi NCR, currently serving as Director & Head of Neurology, Neuro-Interventional Surgery, and Neuroradiology at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, and Director at Prothomesta NeuroCare, Gurgaon. He completed his MD and DM (Neurology) from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, followed by a fellowship in neurointervention (FINR) with training in stroke and critical care. His clinical work focuses on stroke management, neurovascular interventions, and a range of neurological disorders including epilepsy, Parkinsonism, and multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Das has held consultant and leadership roles at institutions such as Medanta – The Medicity, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, and Narayana Health. His work includes the development of a structured Stroke Telecare programme aimed at enabling thrombolytic treatment and remote stroke management. He is a member of professional bodies including the Indian Stroke Association, Society of Neuro Vascular Intervention, and the Neurological Society of India.
