Dr. Darshana Patil

Dr. Darshana Patil is a pathologist based in India, currently serving as Senior Director for Global Strategy and Medical Affairs at Datar Cancer Genetics Limited. She completed her MD in Pathology from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and later pursued a Master’s in Molecular Oncology from the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO). Her clinical and academic training spans haematology, clinical biochemistry, serology, and molecular pathology.

Dr. Patil has held roles including Medical Director at Datar Cancer Genetics and Consultant Pathologist at SRL Diagnostics. Her work focuses on molecular oncology, precision diagnostics, and the integration of genomic tools into cancer care pathways. She has been involved in strategy development and clinical applications of cancer genomics in laboratory and translational settings.
