Dr. Gurudutt P. Varty

Dr. Gurudutt P. Varty is an Assistant Professor and Consultant in Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre, Navi Mumbai. His clinical work focuses on complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary oncologic procedures. He has previously held positions at Tata Memorial Hospital, including Senior Fellow in Hepatobiliary Oncosurgery and HBNI Post-Doctoral Fellow in HPB Surgery.

Dr. Varty completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Miraj, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur. He further trained with an M.Ch. in Surgical Gastroenterology from Narayana Medical College, Nellore, and undertook an international fellowship in minimally invasive HPB surgery at Severance Hospital, Seoul.
