Dr. Prasanna Venkatesh Ramesh

Dr. Prasanna Venkatesh Ramesh is an ophthalmologist with training in glaucoma surgery and research. He completed his MS in Ophthalmology from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (2014–2017), followed by a fellowship in Glaucoma Surgery and Research at Sathyan Eye Care Hospital and Coimbatore Glaucoma Foundation (2017–2019). His clinical and research work focuses on glaucoma management and surgical interventions.

He is associated with Mahathma Eye Hospital Private Limited as a medical officer in glaucoma services. His academic roles include Editor-in-Chief of the TNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research and involvement in editorial and publication initiatives such as AIOS Dynamic E-Book and Oculus Res Gestae. He has also held positions within the Young Ophthalmologists Society of India, including Joint Secretary, contributing to professional education and knowledge dissemination.
