Dr. (Prof.) Meenu Walia is a medical oncologist and hematologist based in Delhi, currently serving as Chairman of the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Max Super Speciality Hospital. She has been associated with the Max Institute of Cancer Care since 2014, progressing from Director to Chairman, and oversees oncology services across multiple units in Delhi-NCR. She completed her MD in Internal Medicine from Delhi University in 1997, where she was awarded a gold medal, followed by a DNB in Medical Oncology in 2004, becoming India’s first DNB-qualified medical oncologist.
Dr. Walia has over two decades of clinical experience in oncology, including key roles at Dharamshila Hospital & Research Centre, where she served as Programme Director and Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology.
