Dr. Tinku Joseph

Dr. Tinku Joseph is a pulmonologist specializing in interventional pulmonology and thoracic endoscopy, currently serving as Head of Interventional Pulmonology and Professor at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. He holds an MD and DM in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and has completed advanced training in interventional pulmonology at Serdang Cardiothoracic Center, Malaysia. His clinical work includes bronchoscopic interventions, airway disorders, and respiratory critical care.

Dr. Joseph has been involved in establishing an interventional pulmonology unit in Kerala and has contributed to the development of lung cancer detection and post-COVID care services at his institution. His experience includes prior roles at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and Dr DY Patil Medical College, Pune.
