Dr. Apurva Kulkarni

Dr. Apurva Kulkarni is a distinguished dental professional whose expertise spans Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridge, and Oral Implantology. A testament to her academic prowess, she graduated as a UNIVERSITY TOPPER and GOLD MEDALIST in MDS, blending scholarly excellence with exceptional clinical acumen. Beyond her practice, she is also a healthcare writer and dental educator, sharing knowledge with clarity and impact. She has honed her proficiency and clinical expertise in Removable and Fixed Partial Dentures, Advanced Aesthetic treatments (including Smile Designing), Full Mouth Rehabilitations, Digital Dentistry, Implantology, and Maxillofacial Prosthetics.

Dr Apurva was born and brought up in Indore (The cleanest city in India), Madhya Pradesh. She completed her schooling at St. Norbert H.S School. Her early interest in biology and life sciences, along with a disciplined academic foundation and creative pursuits, shaped the scientific thinking and communication style that define her work today.

She commenced her career in Dentistry in 2016 and completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2022 at the College of Dental Science and Hospital, Indore. She pursued her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridge, and Oral Implantology from the same Institute (2022-2025). During her MDS academic tenure, she distinguished herself with over 30 presentations, encompassing a wide array of seminars and journal clubs. Her commitment to practical excellence is evident in her participation in numerous workshops and clinical hands-on training sessions. 

Dr. Apurva's professional trajectory includes significant experience as an Associate Dentist across various clinics. Currently, she serves as a Medical Officer at District Hospital, Indore, actively contributing to public healthcare delivery. Concurrently, she functions as a Consultant Prosthodontist and Implantologist, collaborating with multiple clinics managing comprehensive cases. With refined precision, she has cultivated exceptional proficiency in both removable and fixed partial dentures, alongside advanced aesthetic treatments, like smile designing. Her expertise further extends to comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitations, cutting-edge digital dentistry, and implantology, complemented by her specialized skill in maxillofacial prosthetics for oral cancer patients.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Apurva nurtures a profound passion for research and scientific writing. She is committed to delivering invaluable patient healthcare content and fostering dental education through meticulously crafted blogs and articles, all grounded in her extensive expertise. 

Furthermore, she consistently broadened her intellectual horizons by attending various state and national conferences, where her presentations frequently garnered significant accolades. Her scholarly contributions extend to several publications, including both papers and a book. Additionally, she independently conducted research and short study throughout her academic journey.

She has secured 1st position in MDS (Prosthodontics and Implantology) and earned the esteemed title of University topper (MPMSU) in Madhya Pradesh. She has also been awarded the Gold Medal by the Honourable Cabinet Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr Kailash Vijayvergiya. An unbroken string of accolades in research, scholarly writing, and compelling clinical presentations marks Dr Apurva's academic journey.

Her relentless pursuit of knowledge is evident in her extensive participation in a multitude of workshops and hands-on clinical sessions. She has delivered impactful presentations at both State and National conferences, encompassing papers, posters, and table clinics. Her contributions have illuminated advancements in dental technologies, exploring topics such as Photobiomodulation Therapy, Photogrammetry, and the “Ultimate Crown Showdown- Unveiling the fracture resistance of Endocrowns versus post and core-retained crowns”. Her dedication extends to pre-conference courses, where her attendance has also earned recognition. Notably, she clinched the Best Paper Presentation Award at the 25th IPS PG Convention in Hyderabad for her insightful presentation on "UNHINGING THE HINGE AXIS- A PILOT STUDY." Further solidifying her excellence, she was honoured with the Best Poster Presentation Award for "SMART IMPLANTS WITH AN IMPLANTABLE TEMPERATURE SENSOR- AN INNOVATIVE VISION IN IMPLANT DENTISTRY" at the 41st IDA MP State Dental Conference in Indore.

Her prolific contributions to the field are underscored by four publications, including significant papers and a comprehensive book titled "IMMEDIATE LOADING OF DENTAL IMPLANTS."
