Introduction

Dr. Manish S. Bhandare is a surgical oncologist specializing in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and upper gastrointestinal cancers, currently serving as Professor and Head of the HPB and Upper GI unit at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Mumbai. His clinical work includes surgery for pancreatic, liver, gall bladder, and gastric tumors, with experience in robotic pancreatic procedures. He completed his medical education at Government Medical College, Aurangabad, followed by postgraduate training at B. J. Medical College, and later pursued an MCh in Surgical Oncology along with a post-doctoral fellowship in GI and HPB Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Centre.

Dr. Bhandare has been associated with Tata Memorial Centre as a Professor since 2016, contributing to surgical oncology practice and training.
