Dr. Varun M is a Surgical Oncologist and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, Ahmedabad. He completed his MS in General Surgery from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital and his MCh in Surgical Oncology from the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, where he received a Gold Medal.

His clinical training includes gastrointestinal, thoracic, breast, head and neck, and peritoneal cancer surgery, with experience in minimally invasive procedures, CRS and HIPEC, and microvascular reconstruction.
