Dr. Rajesh Karyakarte

Dr. Rajesh Karyakarte is a microbiologist based in Pune, Maharashtra, serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology at BJ Government Medical College. He also holds the position of Vice-Dean (Postgraduate and Research) at the same institution and has been a member of the Maharashtra COVID-19 Task Force since 2023. His work has involved academic leadership, postgraduate training, and public health advisory roles within the state.

Dr. Karyakarte completed his MBBS and MD in Microbiology from Government Medical College, Aurangabad. His career includes foundational work at Government Medical College, Akola, where he established the Department of Microbiology and later served as Dean.
