Dr. Swarupa Mitra

Dr. Swarupa Mitra is a radiation oncologist based in New Delhi and currently serves as Director and Unit Head at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram. She completed her MBBS from RIMS, Ranchi, and later pursued an Executive Program in Healthcare Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Her clinical work focuses on gastrointestinal and genitourinary radiation oncology, with experience in advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic radiotherapy, and brachytherapy.

Dr. Mitra has previously worked at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital and Research Institute and Artemis Health Institute, contributing to oncology care and postgraduate teaching. She has been involved in academic roles across institutions in India and abroad, including Libya, and has guided DNB students in radiation oncology.
